Meet Your Guide

David grew up on Lake Wichita just outside of Wichita Falls and became enthralled with the ecosystem surrounding the water from the time he could crawl. His dad gifted him his first fishing pole at the age of three, and he quickly developed a passion for the outdoors. His family moved to the DFW area and quickly fell in love with Lake Ray Roberts. David saved up to buy his first boat at age thirteen and could always be found on the water in his spare time.

After graduating high school, David attended Texas A&M University where he earned a degree in Fisheries Science and Entomology.  He met his lovely wife, Lindsey, during his time in College Station. They got married and moved to Denton along with their three fur children, two of which enjoy the lake almost as much as David.

​

 David’s extensive knowledge of freshwater ecosystems, along with many years of trial and error, and his passion for entertaining, are what sets Texas Freshwater Adventures LLC apart from other companies.  He knows the ins and outs of many lakes, including Lake Ray Roberts, Lake Texoma and Lake Lewisville. His goal as your licensed fishing guide is to make your trip an experience to remember for years to come.  Whether you’re a dedicated angler wanting to learn seasonal patterns and acquire new techniques, or just wanting a hassle-free day of fishing, David will set you up for success on the water. His boat is outfitted with quality gear and his first-hand experience is priceless.
